I am working on the configuration as suggested by you. I am in step 4. I am trying to get the letsencrypt.org certs. I can see that it is attempting to verify the challenge in TXT record. But it gives the below error. I believe this is supposed to have been created by the python script. This is the error which I have in cloudwatch logs.

letsencrypt.org DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.example.com - check that a DNS record exists for this domain
letsencrypt.org forums say that this record has to be dynamically created by the client script which I believe is in the code. I can see that challenges are being cleared at the end of the script execution. What could be the reason.
Please note that the example.com in this error message is made up. In the actual error message I have a valid domain name registered in Route 53.
Appreciate if you can tell me how to fix this issue.
