IDK what you're using for highlight support, but I've found that some languages in the popular highlighting script highlight.js just aren't supported with this site. I think it would be really cool if full highlight.js support was included!

I have no clue what "Mail to support at rentry.co" means and your twitter messages are not open or not working for some reason so I have no way to message you and ask for what I need. When will maintenance end?

Hateful content

Sorry if this doesn't belong here, but is there a policy for hateful content, or a way to report it? Someone made the bad decision of making a public rentry, and a troll replaced it with something really hateful. I can't find any ways to report it. Again, sorry if this belongs somewhere else, but I wasn't sure where to put it.

(TW for rape, pedophilia, homophobic slurs)

Are we ever getting Rentry's src?

I know that this might be a dupe, but it's been approximately 4 years since you started "cleaning" up the code, is there any estimate to when the code might be published if it ever will?

Publishing the source code would be very helpful for everyone including you, since it extends the idea and lets other people help with other features.

Plus many people are currently just copying the pages source directly, so publishing it wont make a difference if you're scared of dupes, because they already exist. (Ex. https://text.is (uses the direct source of Rentry) and https://sentrytwo.com (uses Entry by "hkau"))

I've also seen that you've been working on more stuff for the past few days so could that give us an idea of how long it'd be until the source is published?

Katex for math support

I think it'd be super cool katex support was added! I often wanna draft up something quick with katex, and send it to some friends to use as a study guide.

I'd be interested in seeing the code for the rentry site, esp with regards to knowing which javascript markdown engine is in use, and such.

[suggestion] Make it easier to find this client on rentry.co

Minor suggestion. The link to the CLI client is a bit hidden. I was about to go looking for a different solution before I found it. Maybe add a 'CLI' link at the bottom of the page?

Dark mode

A prefers-color-scheme switching dark mode css would be pretty useful, there doesn't seem to be any userstyles for the site either to my knowledge. The site is a kinda blinding at the moment lol.
I know this was already mentioned here #1 (comment), but having an issue tracker for this is always good :)

Update an entry with a curl

This is more of a feature request, is there any way to edit an entry with a curl instead of the python CLI?

Why doesn't rentry.co wrap lines?

Every other website that uses markdown rewraps the lines. For example, I have compared the output of rentry's Markdown engine to that a number of other Markdown implementations.

As you can see, 37 out of the 38 markdown implementations tested in that website put the entire paragraph into a p element, rather than adding br elements everywhere the user pressed enter in the source. It would make it easier for new users if you did that too.

Unable to read Set-Cookie header to retrieve csrftoken as this is not allowed on browser-side JS

Would it be possible for me to use this API or should I continue my search?
