Apologies if this isn't the correct way to post a comment on the blog but I couldn't find any other mechanism. I came across the blog entry for "How to automate Kusto (Azure Data Explorer) queries" while trying to write back summarized data for archival purposes. I already get a daily emailed report but would like to write that summarized data back to another table. The .set and .set-or-append commands look to be exactly what I need. When I go to use them in the Log Analytics query tool they autocomplete in the IDE but then fail to execute with an error.

I see in the blog that you are using a Data Explorer Cluster. I'm willing to do that but it seems like overkill for my current task. I jsut want to validate my process in dev before putting it into the existing Logic App daily report. Is Data Explorer Cluster the only place that the ingest from query commands work?
