lines on the gimbal/observation HUD

what are those lines above and below the center point even indicating?
they are not changing with zoom and don't seem to be correlating with distances or (useful) angles.
I can't figure out what they wan't to show and they are cluttering up the HUD a bit.
if they serve no purpose, shouldn't they be removed?

FR: Range/Bearing on arrow in holomap

Would be nice to have the range and bearing on the arrow in the holomap if you hold down E. The dark gray readout in the corner is hard to read at times. At least brighten that bit up a bit perhaps?

Can’t Delete Carrier Waypoints

Couldn’t find a way to delete the checkpoints created on the holomap. Entirely willing to accept problem is between keyboard and chair but figured I’d make the issue just in case.

Release 8.5 shows last update of 15 days ago

Given the number of game patches and updates that have been folded into the actual content, it would probably be a good idea to make a new release zip with a compiled number of updates documented on it.

Vehicle status on launch

I'm not sure if this is a bug in CC2 as of the v1.3.3 update or in this mod.

I'm seeing the game get confused and "lose" track of air vehicles when they have been commanded to depart but have not yet left the carrier. This applies to the overhead vehicle status screen and the overhead navigation screen. Additionally, if there's a second vehicle that has been commanded to depart, I'll see its status (as LNCH) even though it's technically still in STBY while the first is the one actually on the flight deck.

Edit: To be clear, I've only seen this after updating to v1.3.3 and the latest version here.

'default altitude' for waypoints

Could be a button on the waypoint edit screen, click it and new waypoints will be set to that altitude (new ones made by dragging from the vehicle to a target point, the behaviour of setting subsequent waypoints should stay the same)

Esc key and p key not working

Esc key and p key not working to bring up the save/load/leave game menus . Worked up to v2.78 but not in 2.80 or 2.81 .

Mule is displayed in the wrong place

Hello all!
The mule is displayed as "air unit" and not as "ground unit".
When you select it, it spawns in the hangar and the game crashes when it is launched.

FR: Radar scope revamp

Would be nice to have the ID of targets on the radar scope, perhaps with a fancy angled line pointing to it. Also would be nice to have the 45° lines, maybe 15° lines around the outside. And perhaps vectors for speed and direction. Here's a mockup.

Holomap zoom does not work with 17 March 1.5.1 update

The main holomap zooms do not work in this latest release (17 March 23). the tooltip for zoom says 'p/esc', but pressing either of those just exits the map.

I note that scroll zooming works fine on other workstations.

[Request] Show waypoints of own vehicle in tab map

Since the vehicle HUD rendering is exposed do you think it would be possible to render the waypoints for the current vehicle in the tab map? This would be particularly useful for taking manual control of stuck vehicles and knowing where you originally wanted them to go without needing to back out to the vehicle control screen.

Refactor waypoint altitude refractors to be customizable

I was thinking instead of having a static set of presets, it'd be cool if there was a 'save preset' button where you could save the current altitude as a new preset, and if the current altitude is already a preset, that same button could clear it. Have the current presets as the default set to start with, they're still good.

My use case is that I like to set my aircraft to loiter at 1000m, but that's not one of the presets, so I'd like to be able to set custom ones.

Can't change or mount new loadouts for vehicles / Altitude modifier buttons aren't functional

I tried the mod earlier and it made the operations more convenient then I found 2 main issues as of the moment. I'm not able to change the loadouts of my units or even mount one on fresh unit, Another issue when trying to change altitude for aircraft waypoints, the displayed buttons that change a large value of the altitude doesn't work either. Please fix immediately, I want to continue using this mod and not go play in vanilla

UI enhancer compatibility issues with latest 17th March version of CC2

Since the new release from CC2 on 17th March, the UI Enhancer is causing issues.

  1. The new gimbal guns on aircraft are showing as UNKNOWN equipment when UI Enhancer mod is enabled.
  2. The new zoom and centre to mouse feature in the new release is overridden by the UI Enhancer and so doesn't work.

PTR and RZR show "PARK" instead of "STBY"

PTR and RZR show "PARK" instead of "STBY" before they switch to "LNCH" on the air traffic display
Also they don't show "LNCH" until they are on the elevator, unlike the MNT that will switch to LNCH while being moved by the crane as well. (Instead showing "PARK" until on the elevator)

FR: Vehicle map zoom

It would be nice if you could zoom in and out of the map you get when in the vehicle mode and hitting tab. It is very zoomed in and doesn't help much in aircraft at all. It would also be nice if it showed the vehicle's waypoints.

Menu not showing

The problem with the esc and p key not working is fixed as of 8.5 However the menu for the keyboard shortcuts ( r , e , up/down .... ) does not appear visible at the navigation table . The keyboard shortcuts still work though if you happen to know what they are .
