  • Add images to the post via the default Upload/Insert >Add an Image.
  • On the Add an Image popup click the Gallery tab, Click Insert Gallery and save the post.

How to display thumbnail on top?

  • Select the "Classic | thumbnail on top" theme

Wordpress escapes the double quotes in image descriptions and captions. Use Single quotes: <a href='http://my-awsome-site.com'>My Awsome Site</a>

  1. Go to your post and click the "Edit Gallery" button.
  2. At the top of the popup click "Include in Gallery: All" or select individual images
  3. Click "Save all Changes"

image-gallery-reloaded's Issues

Default 'order' / 'orderby' disabled by IGR

I'm using that plugin in a wp site for more than five years, thanks for that incredible plugin. Recently I updated your igr plugin due to wp v4.X and I got all the same working, except of the default order and orderby attributes (i.e. default wp gallery drag/drop image ordering) for [gallery] shortcode is no longer working for some unknown reasons... Now the images showing enforced by order of last uploaded item first.

For troubleshoot, I noticed, that when I disable the igr plugin, the order attribute works fine with default drag/drop order... Kindly give me a custom function for my functions.php, to override the igr order function of [gallery], so I would able to use default drag/drop order.

Thanks in advanced..
