You can craft them in the Foundry Metal Caster for only 4 Ingots. GT counterparts require 8 Ingots befor LV.
Reported by several alpha testers.
Created a stone cover from forge microblocks to place on a small bronze pipe (gtce) carrying steam. As soon as the cover moves over the pipe the client will crash. Tried it in a test world, with and without steam, on all the sizes of bronze pipe with similar result.
Crash Log: https://pastebin.com/3eN1pWTr
Using the turbo steam turbine. Over 120 fps when off
But the moment I give it steam or remove the power stored...
Fps drops to about 10-15. I tested, even when full of steam this still happens. Many of the generators do this. It's not just dependent on the generator turning off and on from not having enough fuel
Version: 0.22b
On the 2nd part of the quest, after creating a magnetic iron rod it is not detected to complete the quest.
The first part of the quest, 1 iron rod and 4 red stone detected properly.
Gunpowder has 3 gregtech recipes (normal, gregtech default), 2 TF recipes, and 1 natura recipe, all with different resource requirements and outputs. I assume we want to keep the gregtech recipe and remove the others
Exactly as the title states
Version: 0.22b
The 'Battery Filling' quest has two machines the Basic Fluid Extractor and the Basic Fluid Canner, with the presumption that they would be used in the subsequent Sodium/Cadmium/Lithium Battery quests which follow. All 3 battery quests use the 'Canning Machine' as the batteries all require dust to be put into the small battery hulls.
Version: 0.23 build
Issues:
AR machine structure (vulpes library) recipe does not work (4 iron plates)
AR Advanced machine structure recipe does not work (4 titanium plates)
AR Rocket Fuel needs a chemical reactor recipe for GT. AR recipe is 10mb Oxygen/10mb Hydrogen = 20mb Rocket Fuel
Observations:
AR Solar generator produces 1 RF/t, the energy pipe from AR has been deprecated, so fluxducts may be needed.
AR Electric Arc furnace, do we want to allow this in addition to the EBF?
5 recipes for the electric arc furnace;
sand->1 silicon ingot
iron/coal->1 steel ingot
7aluminum/3titanium->3 titanium aluminide ingot
titanium/iridium->2 titanium iridium alloy ingot
rutile ore->titanium ingot (probably not a problem since the ore doesn't exist)
AR machines seem to have an issue with materials. Rolling machine, for example, 1 iron ingot=1 iron plate. 64 iron ingots=1 iron plate.
Same issue with lathe, electric arc furnace, cutting machines.
Crystallizer has same issues with silicon ingot/nugget
Not really an IT3 issue more than a AR mod issue.
On the moon, dilithium ore is located but very rarely. 2-4 ores per cluster and well scattered. Other GT ores seem to spawn normally along with the 'nuggets' on the surface denoting their presence.
I'd just leave this ticket open for a bit, I'll add more to it as I progress thru the pack.
I've been trying to make the Metal Cutting Machine (factory tech), I put in the pieces manually and using JEI auto-fill neither actually crafts it. I'm using the GT iron tool rods and an Iron Wrench (with 8 durability missing)
Instead of Compressed Iron
There are 4 different recipes for molten bronze in the alloying crucible, each one uses different types of liquid metal. 1 for foundry+foundry, 1 for GT+foundry, 1 for foundry+GT, 1 for GT+GT. Each recipe also gives different amounts of molten bronze, from foundry. The last recipe, being the default, uses 3 GT copper and 1 GT tin, but only give 2 bronze
Version: 0.22b
When smelting armor, damaged or undamaged, it returns a single nugget specific to the metal type.
Not necessarily sure if that is bad or not, just different.
this handy table https://ftb.gamepedia.com/Solar_Array_Controller tells you how much power each tier+solar panel combination produces
The tier 1 laser drill makes almost all types of ores, and none of the higher tiers add any new ore types.
A bronze wrench only has a durability of 1920.
-> You just can change the direction a machine is facing 3 times
Version: 0.22b
The Volcanization quest is possibly overly complex and not geared quite for an LV quest line. It also has a few issues that need to be resolved in the world in general.
I worked thru the requirements to make 1 small pile of polyvinyl chloride pulp.
-mixer to make salt water
-electrolyze saltwater to get chlorine and hydrogen
-distill oil to get sulfuric naptha (Unknown oil source, issue #1)
-electrolyze water to get oxygen (could skip this step and do the last chemical reaction with air for less gain)
-chemical reactor hydrogen/sulfuric naptha to get naptha
-chemical reactor naptha/steam to get steam-cracked naptha
-distill steam cracked naptha to get ethylene
-chemical reactor chlorine/ethylene to get vinyl chloride
-chemical reactor vinyl chloride with air or oxygen to get polyvinyl chloride (144mb vs 216mb) requires a compressor if doing air.
-mold the liquid polyvinyl chloride out to an ingot
-macerate ingot into dust and craft dust into 4 small piles of polyvinyl chloride pulp.
11-12 machines depending on if you go with air vs no air. That's not horrible, its a good exercise in machine use and setting up production lines.
My issue is that its overly complicated for an LV quest.
My suggestion is to knock it down a lot:
-make the 2000mb rubber
-use your previously made electrolyzer to make oxygen
-make an arc furnace
-use arc furnace w/oxygen to make annealed copper wire
-use your previously made assembler to make annealed copper cable (rubber/wire/chipset)
One of the 'world issues' is that there is currently NO reasonable source of oil in the world.
-Fluid oil generation is rare/non-existant (as multiple cofh clearall experiments have shown)
-Oil sands/shale has been disabled in the pack.
Without a solution to the oil issue there can be no step 3 from the list above and the quest item cannot be made.
If someone can work out a solution that I have overlooked (I'm not infallible) please point it out, I am just making a suggestion for something more practical that can work with what we currently have in 0.22b
p.s. Its Vulcanization :) (ala vulcanized rubber)
GTCE chests (titanium, tungstensteel, etc) are way more expensive and smaller than chests from the Iron Chests mod, making them useless, some balancing required
Due to being overpowered compared to GT equivalents (the NC melter especially)
Basically every mod adds its own bronze dust recipe, and any recipe that results in bronze ingots that aren't from GTCE will not complete the bronze ingot quest near the bottom of the questbook.
For example, 3 copper + 1 tin = 3 bronze blend from thermal expansion. Smelt these and you get TE bronze ingots. I'm sure there are more but I'm getting the TE recipe crash issue a lot so I can't check right now.
Probably also want to disable the lowest tier (uranium) entirely since it doesn't use fission byproducts
Its another of these dreaded "crafting" quests. I've tried polarizing the rod and crafting it with redstone. Hates me either way.
Quest Crushed (#66) is to collect 5 crushed iron, but it doesn't mention how you're supposed to get it. When I first saw it, I assumed it was linked to the Grind That! quest because that's the most logical one, however you can get crushed materials with a hammer, so I think Crushed needs to mention how you get it and not just what it's for
If you complete the two quests before, this quest is impossible to complete. It never unlocks, even though it's set to XNOR which should mean that if both or neither are complete it should be open, but it never did when both before were complete. If you only finish one, however, it is open, which is XOR logic, not XNOR
So, Pam's includes many seeds from their gardens, but they do not drop beetroots. I think carrot seeds, potato seeds, and beetroot seeds should drop from tall grass to make it a bit easier to collect these, like "wild" carrots, potatoes, and beetroots. I was thinking like a 5/100 drop chance (5%). For reference, wheat has a 10% drop chance from tall grass. I can submit a pull request for the changes, if wanted
trying to check the recipe of itemducts crashes your game (press R in JEI)
Purple black squares (missing textures).
Probably a GT issue.
Giving the player a book is an alternative, but would prefer the tooltip I think.

Maybe you should create a quest that introduces the Pressure Chamber.
Version: 0.22b
Creating a tin rotor for the 3rd step of the quest fails to detect. The previous two steps detected the requirements fine.
Fluiducts require aluminium and this main quest is given before you even produce steel
"use" instead of user
No machines can grind 1 gravel to 1 flint like the mortar. I believe the macerator+forge hammer are supposed to do everything the mortar can?
no further info required
The pressure chamber, when inserted wrought iron, makes compressed iron (from gt), which does not work in the blast furnace. It also isn't even interchangeable with PC compressed iron.
The foundry metal caster can't cast bronze into ingots, you need to use the metal atomizer to get bronze out of liquid form. The ingot casting table doesn't work either. The metal atomizer also needs power to operate, therefor you can't do anything with bronze in the foundry
Refractory glass (foundry) is made in the alloy furnace (foundry), which is disabled. It's necessary for a couple of things, like foundry tanks and fluid containers
This mod makes vanilla crafting tables function like Tinker's crafting stations. Crafting tables will store their items after you close it, other players can watch you craft, and the items stored drop when you break the crafting table
