sly-repl-ansi-color's Issues

Add to MELPA or Sly Contrib

It seems from joaotavora/sly#38 that this will not be added to sly/contrib? If that's the case, would you be okay with putting this on MELPA? The file needs to be reformatted (with metadata added), but I'm willing to send a pull request for this if it's fine with you. I'm also willing to make the pull request to MELPA if you want.

How to use?

I'm not sure how to use it effectively. I think I set everything up, but the following still didn't work:

CL-USER> (format t "\\033[31;1;4mHello\\033[0m")
\033[31;1;4mHello\033[0m

It emits the escape code to the standard output (repl).

Licence of sly-repl-ansi-color

Hi,

In a thread in the emacs-devel maillist, the licensing situation for emacs packages provided through Emacs package archives has been under focus. I have volunteered to contact the authors of packages that have a license that is incompatible with Emacs, which is now under GPL-3+.

See https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2017-07/msg01069.html

So I wonder if you could consider to change the license of your package to GPL-3+?

Yours,

Jean-Christophe Helary
