I have the latest version of latte-dock-git, however the sidebar refuses to open. There is no notification, or any click effect whatsoever - when I click the button nothing happens.

I have version r4501.237e5616-1 of latte-dock-git, and the latest version of the sidebar button from Plasma.

What could be the problem?

I have installed ttf-dejavu and ttf-liberation as well.

I found the description in KDE Store, it said the latte dock version must be >= 0.10,

but

The latest version is 0.9.11 ......

Can you help me? I have installed Latte sidebar button on latte dock git version v0.10.2. However, the console opens by itself after every login and it only opens for a while then it disappears and I can't open it again, please fix this!

first, congrats on great work you have done !

But, I have problem with sidebar.
There is no media player or notification inside sidebar, there are icons instead.
When I click on them I can see player and notifications outside of sidebar.
Widgets stay on desktop when I close sidebar and go away when I click on desktop.
Controls and everything else is working fine.

I am on openSUSE Tumbleweed and lattedock 999.git.20210107.33ad9069

Hey I tried to install the latte sidebar from the widget explorer / store but i get an error when i try to use it. I read that i just need to upgrade to this git version however i have no idea on how to install it. Could someone please tell me

Hello, when I attempt to click the sidebar button, I get a popup that says this:

Error loading QML file: file:///home/trainz-are-kul/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.latte.sidebarbutton/contents/ui/main.qml:27:1: module "org.kde.latte" is not installed

I am on the latest version of latte-sidebar-button (from Discover) and latte git version (just updated 2 mins ago)
I have also tried clear-cache

I just pull the latest change on master (commit: 21b187b94c835954cb6a55c769f32fee6652b6cb) and the applet doesn't open my left on demand sidebar anymore

On my Tumbleweed setup, there is only qdbus-q5. Maybe we could use:

qdbus-qt5 blablah || qdbus blahblah

so if qdbus-qt5 is not available, qdbus will be used.
