I'm trying to start PPC but it asks me to install LabVIEW Runtime that i've already intalled.

How can i solve this issue?

After pausing it's possible to move the printer with the jogging buttons. However, once it resumes it looks like it's moving in relative positioning mode.

Thank you for your sharing first and I'm interested in 3D printing recently. Now I'm using the Termit to test the COM port. The board is "marlin MKS GEN_L V1.0" and the chip is CH340G. They can establish normal communication, because when I click "Open" the board will return some messages. However, when I send "M119", the board return nothing. The printer can run normaly. I wonder why the control board don't return information. Thanks again.

The executable must be able to look at the main branch to see if a new version is available and download it after the user's confirmation.

The RPi can just run on Raspbian and LabVIEW can connect through telnet to send commands to the tty devices.

The time-out during running a Gcode file is long due to heating up. This is not needed with other, faster actions.

Thank you for your sharing first and I'm interested in 3D printing recently. Now I'm using the Proper Printing program to initialize. After I input a name of 3D printer which is random and deceded by me, I think, and select the right com port, then I click the "Save" to initialize. Next, I go to the "Machine control" to control those motor and nothing happened. When l click the key of "Initialize", I observed that the communication light flickered several times. The board is "marlin MKS GEN_L V1.0" and the chip is CH340G.
The question is how can I solve this problem and I hope I have described the situation clearly. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks again.

A lot of references to other controls are used to manipulate them. SubVI's need to be made with label based references from the VI server reference. This will not impact the program's performance, but makes it easier to debug and improve.

I don't have a 3D printer running Marlin with a heated chamber so I don't know the exact string when receiving a temperature report.

This will not be easy, but can be very interesting to implement. A Raspberry Pi running OctoPi and let it be controlled with LabVIEW. This can be worth looking further into https://docs.octoprint.org/en/master/api/index.html

This does work in test mode. There is a long timeout in the driver due to heating up actions. It looks like the program is waiting for an OK message which is never received at the last command.

Let initialized printers stack so they can run in parallel. The settings tab can show all current connected printers. An initialize all button and an option to send the same gcode instantly to all connected printers would be a cool feature too. This probably requires cloned VI's, but should not be too hard to implement.

This can be a selector on the settings page which will change, show or hide controls targeted towards the specific tool. It would be interesting for the future with automated tool changes

It looks like the commands are sent faster than the printer can handle but this should not be the case. The program waits until each command is finished executing. More research needed.
