Second paragraph has a broken link for Tom Baugis.

I suppose Juli is understandable but how many visitors will know that ‘Do’ means ‘Donnerstag’?

the link to github doesn't work

It seems that currently only @elbenfreund can publish new things on the website. In projecthamster/hamster#574 (comment) he said:

I may be wrong, but the website is deliberatly based on a repository. This may need some tweaks, but I am happy to establish a more colaborative workflow!

To prevent further cluttering up that issue with details about how to approach this, lets' move discussion about that to here.

(note that I have not strong interest to push this discussion forward myself, I just wanted to facilitate it, and also just open the issue right away rather than just suggesting someone else do it)

The website for projecthamster.org accepts TLS secured connections (https) but delivers a self-signed certificate which spawns a certificate warning in the browser.
If you accept to connect anyway you are forwarded to a 404 page.

A valid certificate, e.g. from lets-encrypt and a fix in the webserver configuration should solve this issue.

When I visit the front page I don’t see the date the posts were created unless I open them. This makes it harder to see how active the project is.

When 0.10.0 release was announced on Reddit, people complained that it is not clear what the project is about.

It should be described either in header or on the front page (above posts?).

Could we switch to https? I know we don't currently have any input forms that need encryption, but at least one user reported problems accessing the http site.
