When i try to attack a server, i always get the error message that the software is unable to resolve the DNS of the website.

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Download

3. Run What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect the tool to start. Instead it freezes upon start. The outline of the window is shown as is the window title, but nothing is shown further. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Latest version on windows XP SP3 32bit Please provide any additional information below. I downloaded the tool and tried to run it on several instances of windows XP SP3. The tool freezes after the initial window is drawn.
I tried several downloads with several browsers (FF, IE, chrome), but no difference. I tried to run it on a 'native' windows machine, in a vmware player 3 based machine, and a ESXi based VM, all with the same result.

Backtracking the problem I started with a fresh install of XP SP3. At first I get an error message concerning a configuration error. Searching for a solution I found a dependency with vcredist 2008 and a mention that 2 versions of it exist (org and SP1) and only the 'old' version would work. I tried both vcredists and the error does disappear only to be replaced by the freeze problem.

I also tried to look for clues with dependency walker and process explorer, but I could find nothing relevant (as far as I could see).

Hello people,

I have a problem that when I want to use this tool behind a proxy that useally it is not very effective. For some reason if I use a proxy I just DOS my own pc! Also I would like to use TOR as a proxy so I enter http://127.0.0.1:8118 or http://127.0.0.1:8123 for polipo but it just seems to spawn connections instantly but it does not do anything, accept for it takes my own internet connection out! However if I use something like proxifier to link it to 127.0.0.1:9050 it looks like it is working but the connection is not very strong....

Do I need to use a proxy for this program or is it safe to use a direct connection?
