Old code, need some maintenance fixes. Can split out other issues from this as needed

• Update dependencies/security issues on packages
  • replace request (deprecated) with node-fetch #2
  • npm audit fixes #2
  • recheck github dependabot
• Gulp is not in the scripts, and running fails with missing dependencies. Replace with plain npm scripts #2
• Lint fixes: replace jshint with eslint, fix any linting issues
• Have been using this for some time, so stable enough. publish a version
• Setup CI. Use lock file
• General cleanup
  • Switch to typescript?
  • ES6 (no const, arrow currently)
  • use async/await/promises instead of callbacks
