Use a collision group that doesn't collide with the default to make it so the default dragger tools can't select hats.

Maybe best to do this when that common plugin module comes out so I can use a color picker from it.

I imagine it wouldn't be hard to do.

The current rotation option should be referred to as "rotation method" and the new one should be a rotation of the hat before other transforms are applied

I want to make this plugin compilable and installable without having to open Roblox Studio. Unsure how others do this, I'll need to look into it.

Why? 24 robux is too much for a silly hat plugin. Why couldn't this be free?

These should change depending on whether you have copy camera or relative to camera for the rotation method on the currently selected hat.

Currently don't know of a way to do this, but I assume they'll implement something in the near future.

Accessories are being updated to use MeshParts soon, this means some tweaks will have to be made to the importing process. Special meshes will likely still be used for the hats in the world, as the MeshId of a MeshPart still isn't scriptable.

The plugin throws these warnings in my console when selected, warnings dissappear when I unselect the plugin so I assume its the cause of the issue.

This should be a one line fix, just need to change hat updating from heartbeat to renderstep

This wouldn't completely fix the issue of hats sticking around after someone leaves, but it would mitigate it.

To make hats semi-transparent for other people.

Hat is parented inside of random parts and classes and cannot be moved.

If a hat has particles, you should be able to toggle them on and off as you need.

Spamming import hats fast enough will add duplicates of hats that cannot be removed. This issue is lessened since there's a confirmation window, but it could still be triggered.
