Build Reactive Rest API with Spring WebFlux and Reactive MongoDB

A sample spring webflux project created to understand the basic implementation how to make an API reactive.

Requirements

  1. Java - 1.8.x
  2. Mongo DB - 4.0.x

Steps to Setup

1. Clone the application

The server will start at http://localhost:7000

2. Setup database

Follow the steps:

  1. Create a database with name as webfluxdb
  2. Create a collection with name as employee
  3. Insert document in the collection refering the entity class

Explore the Rest API

GET /employee - Get List of employee details
