I created this repository to keep my learning, notes, and code in one place for various tools in DevOps. Now, it's helping thousands of learners, practitioners, and professionals every day in their DevOps journey.
Hope you are well and fine. I just looked at our DevOps repo that I first visited after so long. Since I am working in DevOps in my new job, I would like to add a YAML learning resource to the documentation.
The step will need a run parameter and id to be defined to later retrieve the output value.
I am eager to resolve this issue and would appreciate being assigned to it.
I was thinking of improvising the Linux landing section by including Architecture components, Distributions, File systems, and their organizations along with the diagrams and so on.
Line 62 of /docker/readme can be improved to something like:
"The .dockerignore file is used to specify the file and directories that are not copied when using the COPY command"
docker volume mount command for mounting the host docker daemon to the docker container as a volume.
it will perform the CI tasks inside the docker container
after the job gets finished
it will automatically destroyed
if new jobs encounter means it create an new container and again mount it to the container
it will be used in continuous integration for jenkins. when using docker as a agent.
Hi,
is it possible to contribute at bash script part?
i would like to firstly add some more command like: Strict mode, File conditions, Default values, ...
would it be possible to add them firstly at readme and secondly write sh file of each of them?
i would add them base on your sources.
I have noticed two instances of the word "the" in the README.md file of the Bash-Scripting. I have attached a screenshot for your reference. I am eager to contribute to this repository and kindly request to be assigned to the task.
I would like to contribute to this project and want to update the Linux notes section with different and in command section and its uses and many different learning resource for links and also want to add explanations screenshots.
Hey @Pradumnasaraf !
There is a typo error in the readme file of Kubernetes as well as same error in the Description part also. Can you please fix that or Can I work on this and make a PR? because these contributions also help me .
Happy to contribute to the OpenSource.
There are currently no notes written for Linux. If it is ok, I would like to add a few notes under this section, describing the concept of Linux for users.
I have identified two errors in the Docker/commands/README.md file. I observed that the word "customization" is written as "customiztaion" and "directly" is misspelled as "direclty". I have included a screenshot for your reference. I am eager to resolve this issue and would appreciate being assigned to it.
@Pradumnasaraf
So, as a community driven project appreciating the contributor by mentioning them on the readme file will be a great idea. We can do this by using a dynamic image URL generated using "contrib.rocks" website, which generate a dynamic image URL for contributors of a project.
I have identified two errors in the Kubernetes/README.md file. I observed that the word "independent" is written as "indepent" and "container" is misspelled as "conatiner." I have included a screenshot for your reference. I am eager to resolve this issue and would appreciate being assigned to it.
I have identified the errors in the screenshots provided. You can label this as "good first issue" and assign it to new contributors. I'm okay with that.
