Used Convolution Neural Networks to make a simple model to extract the text from pictures in Python.

analyze-fitness-data icon analyze-fitness-data

Fitness trackers are more popular than ever before, and one such popular tracker is Runkeeper. It is a GPS fitness-tracking app for iOS and Android that was launched in 2008. It tracks the fitness activities of the person using it, such as, walking, running, cycling, etc. using GPS sensors. Once such an activity has been completed, it provides stats related to it. This project is centered around these stats of one person. We will be analyzing these statistics to see how this person has been performing.

The project focuses on modelling a system for gender identification through speech analysis. The features used are MFCCs, mel-frequency spectrogram, and chroma and the model used is a deep-feed forward neural network with five hidden layers.

parking-slot-detection icon parking-slot-detection

Finding an empty slot for parking one’s car can turn out to be a hassle. This is a problem many people face daily, especially in metropolitan areas. With this project, we aimed to solve the problem of finding a parking space with the available techniques of digital image processing in MATLAB. A camera is installed at a high and fixed position in the parking lot. An image of an empty parking lot is taken as a reference and then an image of a parking lot with cars is taken. Both the images are subtracted to find the numbers of parking slots available.

predict-blood-donations icon predict-blood-donations

A blood transfusion is the process of replacing the lost blood in one’s body following an injury or illness. Millions of people require such a transfusion every year, and the process is normally safe. To satisfy this crucial demand, it is critical to ensure that there is enough blood when required. This is only possible if a good number of people donate an appropriate amount of blood, which is why blood donation drives take place. Here we will be analyzing our dataset and find insights on how many donors donate again and within what timeframe, to better understand the blood donation process and be able to know how many are potential re-donors.
