Hey @maxknee, I have some thoughts about this: I think we should go for the https://github.com/FormidableLabs/webpack-dashboard because will be an improvement for the developer experience, but maybe after this we can also add the webpackmonitor
if we think we need it.
About the implementation:
- the plugin instance should go after this line: https://github.com/PolymerX/polymer-skeleton/blob/develop/webpack.config.js#L63 so we can have it while running the
yarn dev
command. - it's better to specify the port as the documentation says.
- the
webpack-dashboard
command should be added both foryarn dev
command andyarn dev:module
command - maybe it's worth to learn more from the documentation and check out if we can take advantage of some specific options (I didn't check it yet).
