Hello,

I noticed that the choice of male or female DB25 connector is the inverse of what is specified on the official BlueRetro's site for DIY. For example, for the ESP32 module, it says to use a female connector solder cup, while your project uses a male one. Of course, the opposite is true for the cable adapters.

I know it's not a big deal, as one can simply swap the male/female DB25 connector as needed, but it might be worth mentioning somewhere in the README, especially for those of us (me) that have already built the official DIY ESP32 module, and would like to try interfacing it with a PCB-based one from this site.

P.S. Unrelated, but I think it would be nice if the README also included a screenshots showing the PCBs wired up inside the 3D-printed shells, with the cover off, so that we can see how well it fits inside. Probably also worth mentioning that the cables would need to be threaded through the case before soldering to the PCB.

Are urs designed made with eagle right?

Ive made an PS2 PSX adaptor which works great on both my PSX/PS2, how ever when I try
To use it on my original Xbox with my PS2 to Xbox adaptor, it powers up but nothing, it don’t sync the controller.

Ive been using the xbox to PS2 adaptor on my Xbox for years and it works great with a wired PSX controller and I just want To use my wiresless adaptor on it ?

I done the pin swap fix for the PS2 adaptor, which works great on my PS2 PSX.

any help would be great.

I just wired up the NES and SNES PCBs, but I’m having an issue with my NES version. I can connect controllers but the A button is the only input I get. I double checked continuity following the schematics and everything is connected correctly, I’m not sure what else to check.

First of all, awesome project! Thank you for making these, and offering them up for free!

I am interested in making the SNES adapter. I don't have a ton of experience with 3D printing, but when looking at the screenshots of your prints, I get the impression that these STLs won't print all that well with a filament printer. Am I correct? If so, would it be possible to create a simple 1 and 2 hole shell with a generic cover that could be easily printed with a filament printer?

Not sure this is because of the ESP32 boards I have on hand or because of how the PCB was printed, but my ESP32's pins do not line up with the PCB through holes. I have two different ESP32 models and they both have the same issue. I used OSH Park to print the PCB's and never had an issue with them before.

I have a different version of the DevKitC on the way from DigiKey. Hopefully it'll fit.

I have tried Neo Geo and PCEngine so far. I need more cables for other systems, but i will soon. I could help you for issue 41, I have a RGB modded famicom AV which is my main famicom console for playing, and a NES PAL, my own NES from childhood....

So, I tried to play street fighter with your adapter and it works fine when playing with 2 buttons mode, but on 6 buttons mode > GameAlt, the controllers are not :( The controller is connected as 2nd player and can also control the first one where the bottom button seems to be always pressed in. Am I missing something ?

Just a note that I think the manufacturer changed the layout of the board linked in the BOM. I ordered one linked by the BOM and it does not fit the pinouts of the circuit board. I ended up ordering these and they work: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07QCP2451/.

NOTE: These boards will not program unless you hold down the IO0 button on the board itself when programming over USB. Updating firmware via the OTA interface appears to work just fine.

The linked 1965-ESP32-DEVKITM-1-ND is a 34 Pinout version instead of a required 38 Pinout Version.

It looks like the numbering for the L connector vias on the PSX/PS2 PCB is flipped horizontally:

I was following the traces to make sure I connected my wires right, and was confused that the pad numbers didn't match up with the DB25 pin numbers as per darthcloud's schematic.

I am happy you share a pcb to make it easy to build. I have a problem to setup PCE 6 buttons controller. I have using switch pro controller for source and destination set to pce 6 botton and save. It is showing saved but it is not work. That I go back to config page. It is showing default in mapping. Do you know how to set it? I am flashing 1.8.3 universal firmware.

Now that the PCB has tested successfully and no changes are needed, I will start working on the Housing CAD.

Not really an issue but would the "ESP32-DevKit C development board WIFI Bluetooth development board 38Pin TYPE-C interface equipped with ESP32-D0WD chip" work with this I have already bought a couple the first was to narrow and the second not enough pins, Any help would be appreciated thanks
