Hi Shelley, I tried PC builds from both our stable and development branch, both work correctly and display the overlay. I am authenticating using the Dev Auth Tool.
Can you tell us what is your target platform and authentication method? Additionally, have you tried installing and building pc for the samples?

Hey Adrian! I'm building for Windows standalone, and authenticating with ExchangeCode from the Epic Launcher. I've also tested with authenticating with the Portal. Both can authenticate successfully and Im able to use the EOS interfaces (eg unlocking achievements)
I'll have a look at the samples today and see if they work for me

Also, maybe check the logs to see if there was a problem on init or other errors before 'EOS_UI_SocialOverlayLoadError'. I would recommend trying the Dev Auth Tool with your title as well as the samples.

Ok I ended up removing this plugin and reimporting it and the overlay works again. No idea what happened in between there

No worries. Just a heads up that Overlay requires Epic Games Launcher to be installed. Perhaps the overlay binaries became corrupted at some point.
