Saw in the git history that there was multiple changes for making PKP apps run on newer PHP in the LTS 3.3 version, so thought it could be worth posting. Not sure what the end php target for the LTS 3.3 branch is.

I noticed now when checking out the version that application stream just released 8.2 as a module in May, so I tested that also, with the same result.

I think the same is also true for remi repo, php 8.0 which was the previous version, running on Red Hat 7. We noticed the bug, when clicking around after migrating to a new server, and afterwards saw that the bug also happened on the old server, but had gone unnoticed.
