internal links dont work in chrome app

first of all, love this tool. It works great. especially love the much needed side-by-side and synced scrolling.

the big thing that doesnt work for me is that internal links dont work in the preview.
For example, in one section I can put: <a name="mySection"/>
then in a different place in my doc i can put a link to it using: my section

this works fine in GitHub or NPM but not in the preview pane.

thanks,
Yoav

How to open file from command line?

on osx I've gotten close:

  1. Make an app shortcut in Applications folder:
    1. open chrome://extensions, right click and choose create shortcut
    2. It will put the shortcut to ~/Applications/Chrome\ Apps.localized
    3. I moved it to the regular Applications folder: /Applications
    4. I renamed it to "md"
  2. now i can open with open -a "md"

My question is: How can i make it open a file?
like open -a "md" README.md (that doesnt work)

Add a translation into other languages. I can help with the Russian language.

Markdown tables

At the moment, there's no support for tables in markdown in the editor. This isn't rendering correctly:

Increase font size

And finally,

Personally I find the font size very small. Is there any possibility to let the user increase the font size?

Thankfully,

Robert

Ability to follow links to local Markdown files

Markdown files allow local links, like this:

More about [passwords](passwords.md)

It would be very handy for me to be able to click on a local link and have the markdown editor start to edit that file. Is this a feature that's possible?

Simple autocompletion

Aside syntax highlighting, it would be very useful if the app supports simple autocompletion, such as list completion.

Example:

Begin a list with *, pressing enter to switch to the next line could automatically insert a new bullet asterisk.

What do you think of this?

Warmly,

Robert

Basic syntax highlighting

Dear @pioul,

Thank you very much for this fantastic editor! The best markdown editor I could find for Chromium. It's a great app to quickly compose your email in Markdown (with preview) and then insert it back into Gmail.

I have three feature requests which I split into three different issues.

This one concerns basic syntax highlighting. As of now, everything is formatted with the same colour (left pane), making it difficult to distinguish code from quotes or normal text.

Do you think it's possible to add basic syntax highlighting?

Thankfully,

Robert

Print as md or preview

I too really like the simplicity of this editor and use it fairly regularly to draft a short or temporary document.

I would like to see a print feature though - ideally activated with ctrl+p / cmd+p. Specifically to print out a pretty preview (not so much the raw markdown). Thanks.

Export feature?

Hi,

Is it possible to add export feature to the chrome app? I've been using it quite a long time and found it was pretty annoy when I finished everything but could not export as HTML or PDF.

For the HTML one I can simply copy all the code, paste and save as html file, but the style is missing.

Thanks.
