phinger-cursors's Issues

Not able to set cursor size

First of all, great job!

I've been using Breeze for a long time and it's nice to se a similar but improved one!

However, for some reason I've not been able to set the cursor size. With Breeze all I had to do in ~/.Xresources was:

Xcursor.theme: Breeze_Default

And the cursor looked fine no matter what resolutions or dpi (I use up to three different, depending on the screens I'm using).

I've tried with:

Xcursor.theme: phinger-cursors
Xcursor.size: 24

Both 24 and 32 look too small and identical (like it's 16x16). But setting it to 48 looks too big ...
Any hints? Thank you!

Doesn't scale

Very nice cursors, but they don't scale at all. (Tested on KDE Plasma 5.23). The cursors are perfectly legible on my right-side 1080p monitor, but on my left-hand 1440p monitor they're tiny.

Add alias `dnd-copy` and `dnd-ask` for Gnome

Hi there,

I noticed the copy and ask cursors in Gnome 41 were missing, just need to add the symlinks dnd-copy to copy and dnd-ask to help, and all works well.

Thanks for such a wonderful cursor set.

Cursor size not changing for some values

Hello great set of cursors, thanks!

I am using gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface cursor-size <size> to change the size of the cursor, but it seems to me that there is no difference between 24-32 and between 48-64.

Any ideas?

Gnome-Shell crashes in overview on X11 when using phinger-cursors

I encounter this problem on my desktop PC (AMD RX 6800) running Ubuntu 23.04 as well as Fedora 38.
I am using the latest stable Mesa (23.1.4).
Gnome-shell crushes when in overview, and one drags any window arround. It only happens on a X11-session. With Wayland everything works just fine.

Cursor size is inconsistent

Hey,

I like the design of Phinger, but I have a problem with the cursor size.

For me, Breeze Light at size 24 has the perfect size.
Phinger Light at size 24 is too small (especially the normal cursor) and size 32 is too big (especially the resize and text cursors).

I'm using KDE Plasma 5.23.90 on Arch btw using the AUR package version 1.1-3.
