This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.

Deploy on Vercel

Fix header scaling

The header doesn't scale for mobile. This will probably get fixed as we work on templates and styling, but let this issue be a reminder.

Build standard shape library

Huygens uses the same shapes over and over. This means we shouldn't have to rebuild the shape for each page.

Let there be a library of sufficiently generalized shapes, that can be slapped into a page as needed.

For example:

  • Circle, with customizable radius and color
  • Dot (ball), also with customizable radius and color
  • Line
  • Cycloid
  • Rectangle

Implement onClick actions

Currently, CanvasBuilder is set up to run draw() immediately.

There needs to be some kind of hook to allow a click on a word to cause drawing to occur.
