Control the camera zoom

I am building a GUI application for my camera (sonyHx400v) using this library. The problem that I face is that I am not able to control the zoom to a particular value, even though I am able to zoom in and zoom out using 1shot.

How to transfer images to ubuntu pc via this API.

This code record 10 seconds video, but I will like transfer to the computer.

I'm trying to connect to an older sony RX100 III to do some automated 3d scanning.

My router & many routers seem to hate UPNP these days, and I'm struggling to get them connected. I can see in my router the camera and my computer are both connected & know it's IP - is there any way to hack past the discovery() method and connect directly to the camera? I tried looking through the code but I don't know what the xml_address is supposed to look like...
