GENERAL INFO:

Python scripts, which may be used to get stock and fund data from finanse.wp.pl service.

#####Notice: You should get wp.pl permission before using scripts in this repo.

NOTES:

• 12/01/2015 Refactored parse_stocks module. Added list comprehensions and a few improvements to make the code run faster.
• 31/12/2014 Refactored all files, now the usage is easier. The API has changed.

FILES:

• get_names.py: contains functions, which get stock and fund names and IDs (internal ID in finanse.wp.pl database). This data id needed to use functions in other modules.
• parse_stocks.py: functions, which get stock related data.
• parse_funds.py: functions, which get investment fun related data.
• volume_alert.py: when launched, produces a report about interesting opportunities on WSE (based on volume change)

TODO:

• filter things, which are not stocks (there is some worthless data)
• add some data analysis tools
• add more data sources
• add a module, which will allow to get market news about a stock
