opendisks's Issues

Is this project dead?

I have been trying to get this to work with a mod pack I am building but like others posted I can not get this to work. I do not see any responses from anyone as well. I see this is an open source licesne so I may fork it and try to fix it if I can issue a pull request here if the maintainer is still around.

No disks appear

I am on 1.10.2 with jei. I can't see any of the disks from open disks (made sure to use the correct format) not even the example one. I checked the config and there isn't even a file for open disks.

isCraftable option in .disk.cfg non-functional.

As per title. The inclusion of isCraftable=false in the config file does not remove the disk from the scrench crafting cycle.

Contents of .disk.cfg for one of the disks:
color=2
name=a-coordinates
isReadOnly=true
isCraftable=false

Tested on 1.12.2, mod version 0.1.0.3.

Unable to parse dependency

Unable to parse dependency for mod 'opendisks' with dependency string 'after:OpenComputers'. The modId 'OpenComputers' must be all lowercase.

Cannot find my hello-world disk in JEI

Hi.

I cannot find my disk in JEI and I cannot craft it with the Scrench.

What I tried

Maybe I missed something ?

In my minecraft/mods/opendisks/lua folder:

  • I create a hello-world folder
  • I create a test.lua
  • I create a disk.cfg with this content :
color=0
name=hello-world
isReadOnly=true
isCraftable=true
  • I tried to rename disk.cfg in .disk.cfg like in the od-test example
  • I tried to put disk.cfg in minecraft/mods/opendisks folder.
  • I tried to put disk.cfg in minecraft/mods/opendisks/lua folder.
  • I tried to put disk.cfg in minecraft/config folder.
  • I tried to put disk.cfg in minecraft/config/opendisks/ folder.

Disks not registering as components on multiplayer server

I have set up a multiplayer server that runs a custom modpack including this mod and some disks I wrote. The disks properly show up in JEI and are able to be crafted, however when loaded into a computer they do not have any content, and aren't even assigned an address. This happens with all of the disks added through OpenDisks, including od-test.
I have confirmed that the opendisks folder in mods is still properly formatted, and the lua files are all present.
On a singleplayer-install world, which the multiplayer install is copied from, the disks are craftable and do properly get assigned addresses and can be read.

Running version 1.0.3 on 1.12.2

Attached image: example of disk not receiving address despite being placed into a disk drive. This has the same result with either a drive or the internal drive in a T3 case.
