With CLE6 the variable CRAYOS_VERSION is not defined in new CDTs. Maali modulefiles rely on this variable to expand the install path. Suggestion is to set it in the maali script itself or capture it while creating the new modulefiles for the tool by using the config file used to build that tool/version.

Looking at the list of folders representing OSes in /group/pawsey0001/software folder I get

-bash-4.2$ ls
centos7.6  cle60up05  cle60up07  sles12sp3  topaz_centos7.6

topaz_centos7.6 and centos7.6 should be the same one right?

(Tested on chaos-int with modules/3.2.10.6): The modulefile created by maali/1.4.3 is setting the MAALI_LOADED_PRGENV, COMPILER and COMPILER_VER with set command which is not successfully setting the variables outside the scope of brace brackets. Using setenv instead to set the value of the variables does propagate it outside the if condition scope.
