This app is built using Rails, it generate random greeting feetched from the api.

You can find the frontend repository at hello-react-front-end.

To get a local copy up and running, follow these steps.

In order to run this project you need Ruby, Rails, and postgres installed on your machine.

Clone this repository to your desired folder:

  git clone https://github.com/Salwa99/hello-rails-back-end.git

  cd hello-rails-back-end

Install this project with:

  bundle install

Install node dependencies with:

npm install

Create databases and run the migrations with:

  rails db:create
  rails db:migrate
  rails db:seed

To run the project, execute the following command:

  rails server
