in section 8.1 there is a type, pls replace extention by extension.
Is there a repo that I can clone so that I can simply update the install guide?

should be create_from_github(repo = "pat-s/oddsratio", destdir = "~/git", credentials = cred) instead of create_from_github(repo = "pat-s/oddsratio", destdir = "~/git", cred = credentials)

When I first ran R in my new Antergos install I got an error trying to install packages because the mirror selection dialogue could not be launched:

Error: .onLoad failed in loadNamespace() for 'tcltk', details: call: dyn.load(file, DLLpath = DLLpath, ...) error: unable to load shared object '/usr/lib/R/library/tcltk/libs/tcltk.so'

There's a bit of outdated info around online about this. It turns out there are two packages: tcl and tk that need to be installed. My install came only with tcl.

Maybe include in the R setup section a hint on how to exchange the numeric libraries with openblas/intel-mkl?

I upgraded my gcc-fortran and now R will not start with: /usr/lib64/R/bin/exec/R: error while loading shared libraries: libgfortran.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

ls /usr/lib/libgfortran.so.* returns:

/usr/lib/libgfortran.so.5  /usr/lib/libgfortran.so.5.0.0

So I think this means I am in trouble. I'd avoid taking the new version of gcc-fortran unless you know how to resolve this.
