woods's Issues

Add option to enable true linebreaks in markdown

This could be as easy as sticking

marked.setOptions({
       breaks: true
});

into TemplateParam.js . It would be better to expose this with an option, but I can't figure out how to access the site object out of the TemplateParam scope.

Cannot find module 'tiny-lr'

I published the new version to NPM and now get the following error when starting up:

No site directory provided. Serving example site:

How to implement pagination?

What needs to be done in order to setup pagination for the content? Can infinite scroll using masonry.js aslo work?

Backslashes in URLs

Woods generates weird URLs with backslashes on my end, example:

http://localhost:3000/\about-us\

Chrome does correct this, but not firefox. I'm on a Win7 machine, if that's of any help.
Any ideas for a quick fix?

Is it MIT License?

The license in the license file seems to be MIT but not explicitly mentioning the license by its name makes the reader spend time on trying to figure out which license it is, if there are any changes to the standard license template or additional clauses to the license. Newbie's specially find this an hurdle to using open source projects.

Mentioning the license name at the top of the license would help.

Also, mentioning the license name at end of readme and linking to, seems to be the norm. Example: https://github.com/saintedlama/passport-local-mongoose#license

If it is OK, I am updating both files, license and readme. Please see my pull requests.

Including markdown files from the page directory

Hello,
Is there a way to include .md files in .jade template files? The MD files are located in the folders of each respective page being rendered by woods.
If in a .jade template, I use something like : include code.md then it looks for code.md in templates directory instead of the code.md in the content of the page being rendered.
Would you happen to know a workaround for that? I need to include .md files placed under folder of the respective page.

Thanks!

Aim of the project

Ive been trying out lots of static site generators to make image portfolios. Most of them dont work well with images. It nice to find out that Moniker is doing something suitable for that purpouse.

I wonder though if its more of a inhouse tool or you have no problems with outside contribution and use (i know its on github but whatever).

I can imagine i would use Woods for lots of portfolios of my designer friends (most probably sync with drobpox or something), my javascript is not at level to contribute to the project but i could maybe help with the docs (when i dig into woods myself) or create some themes.

And well i see quite lot of activity, so i asume you believe in this and you plan to work on woods in the future?

Thanks

Docpad?

Not really an issue, but a channel to ask what the Woods' objective is compared to for example Docpad which seems to strive for a similar goal?
