I have used codebar tutorial as a first start using APIs and get familiar with HTTP protocol. Technologies used: HTTP Requests, AJAX and APIs Added features: yes.

Goal

To build a webpage that can retrieve information about a specified GitHub user.

My additional functions:

  • Retrieve number of active repositories in the user profile.
  • If userName is not found a message "no such user" will display.
  • Search box/test input resets to placeholder, once the query is sent.
