Looks good and all... but you forgot to write installation instructions for any app.

Something in the check() function is making a forward slash (/) dissapear inside the configure.server_id variabl,e after the funcion url_join() is called for the second time.

In this way... if the original server_id variable holds the value "http://abcd.com/folder/index.php"

After the second call, it will be converted to "http://abcd.comfolder/index.php"
(note the slash after the .com dissapears, forcing the browser to end in a NET::NAME NOT RESOLVED error).

I had to manually edit the ajax call to put my static server address into the function to make it work. Don't know what is causing the slash to dissapear, but it gets reported on the JS console.

Two of the dependencies was deprecated, cordova-plugin-file-transfer and crypto. Do you plan to update use of the plagin?
Trying out the demo with Cordova 10 and can't manage to make it work. There is no package.json file which should tell what we need to use.
In demo it's not your repo which we clone, is that as it should be?
