As suggested in #4

This is a nice-to-have, but it would be good if we could run the tests just for one of the stacks at a time as well. If I'm making changes to the Node.js 18 image for example, I would appreciate being able to isolate the tests to that one stack. Open to having this implemented down the line though if you want.

Question

As the purpose of this stack is to allow to run/build node.js or java runtimes, when is it planned to include the java stacks ?

Add testing for Node.js in runtime images versus only testing the runtime in the base image. This was left out of the initial testing since it but that requires us having a working published extension, which in turn requires this stack to be published.

there is a ubi8 image for JDK-21 available now.

• add USN polling mechanism back in
• add some tests against the stack images, and checks that will run against PRs
• flesh out the README with some more context
• add publishing workflow - #3
• add SBOM generation and release notes
