It should be! Embarrassing. As a workaround it can be found on api.owner.name. The owner property is the actual activity instance. but I'll add it to the api as well.
The source of the bug is in bpmn-elements - transferring issue.

The engine is updated with the new version. Hopefully this issue is resolved.
