We built 5 sites for now... you?

Blog Post

Make a blog post about screencast and 0.9.8 release.

FAQ Section

I think we need also a faq section so we can save time for same questions like:

  1. Padrino is only a set of libraries ?
  2. What is the the difference between monk ?

Hehe

Welcome Post on our Google Group

We need to inaugurate our google group with a post with some instructions about us and how to use it.

/var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/padrino-core-0.10.2/lib/padrino-core/application.rb:170:in `block in default_configuration!': wrong number of arguments (1 for 0) (ArgumentError)

Contribute

Can you add:

  • Coding guidelines (spaces, indenting etc... maybe with tm_bundles)
  • Write docs guidelines

Thanks!

Reorder pages/guides

Hi guys,

tonight I added sort feature to our pages/guides/accounts.

I reorder pages and some guides but feel free to reorder them!

Create Padrino Benchmarks

Run some benchmarks against other frameworks and do feature comparisons for post. Compare against sinatra, ramaze, rails 2, rails 3 and show how the response time for an application compares.

turn guides into plain text

If the guides (and maybe the other contents, too) would be plain text, like a little directory with plain textile files and a yaml header, it would be a lot easier to contribute, as in just forking this repository (or a seperate guides repository) and send a pull request when something great is done.

Admin Section

  1. When using roles other than admin the profile breaks if the role does not have access to accounts. This should be changed so any user of any role can edit their own account information.

Cleanup Wikis

Remove contents form github wikis and for now (in future we will drop them) add only a link to the guide in our website.

Make Website more Product Oriented

From padrino/padrino-framework#544 by lazaridis-com

The current website is project oriented and contains many off-site links:

CODE BLOG GUIDES API CONTRIBUTE WHY CHANGES TEAM

This should become more product oriented and in-stie:

FEATURES GUIDES WHY BLOG PROJECT

PROJECT has then sub entries for CONTRIBUTE CHANGES CODE TEAM and API

(The names for the menu entries are examples)

The main page acts as a quick-start (as it is now, but less information)

Remove Test-App

Nathan, if you agree, can we drop (or empty with readme) our test-app since it is not updated and can confuse our "users".
