Are you still doing this project, I am also interested in HAM, and if you want, maybe I could do some hardware job, like PCB design.

I want to construct a transceiver, or a transmitter for starters, on other bands (collecting, sending measurements)
VHF is an example with lots of public frequencies.

Could you lay down the general principles for design. You need to change the chip, oscillator and some other design elements ...
Any references.

When I look at designs the basic building blocks are basically the same up til several GHz using different oscillators.
Maybe that is not so, when using the Raspberry Pi as part of the design?
