This is a project where I will set up a Rails app to be a data-producing API… which is just a fancy way of saying that all my controller methods will render data instead of HTML. I consider this a drill in quickly building a pure vanilla RESTful resource. this will be working with an external APIs.

1. Git.
2. Code editor.
3. Code linter.
4. Rails 5.
5. Browser.

1. Open the terminal.

2. Enter https://github.com/othman-19/API_othman_kittens.

3. Navigate to the cloned repository.

4. In the terminal cd into API_othman_kittens.

5. Install bundle by typing bundle install and update it by typing bundle update in the terminal.

6. Run the rails server by typing rails server in the terminal.

7. Open in browser with localhost:3000
