I can only guess what problem you are facing because you just pasted some code and failed to provide any description. Namely, you did not bother to describe the expected versus the actual behavior.

Your code is equivalent to something like:

var valueObj = ({ javaObj: Java.type("path.Main.DataClass").create("Hi"), printData: () => console.log(javaObj.data)});
var printDataMember = valueObj['printData'];
printDataMember();

It seems that you expect to see Hi printed, but it is not. It seems that you blame Java object in javaObject property for that, but note that your code does not work even with pure JavaScript, i.e., if you replace Java.type("path.Main.DataClass").create("Hi") by { data: 'Hi' }. Your example is broken. printData function cannot refer to javaObj this way (it does not see it - that's why it is undefined).
