Is it possible to grab --jvm. parameters from anywhere in the command line?

Whatever comes after the name of the script is an argument for the script. I don't think that it is a good idea for the runtime to "steal" arguments that look like runtime options. I am not aware of runtime that behaves like that. Consider, for example, java Main -Dfoo=bar. It also does not set foo system property.

Hi Mike,

evaluation order is important here. It is working properly for me with:

node --jvm --jvm.Dfoo=bar test.js | grep foo

I see. Is it possible to grab --jvm. parameters from anywhere in the command line? I realise this may fail if a JavaScript program actually has a --jvm.foo command line convention, but usually a -- parameter is good enough to solve such issues.
