one-click-installer's Issues

Icon is not shown in application

There is no icon in the top-left corner of the application window. I did a "make install" and the icon is properly installed, but it's still not shown.

Installation doesn't work

I tried to install a package and the installer started doing something, but neither showed the progress page nor did it install anything. The helper process ran in the background, but it didn't complete.

Repository information is unclear

The information, which is shown when clicking the show details link is unclear. There are a number of issues.

First is the layout. There is too much spacing between the lines. The summary and the URL label are kind of redundant, because it's obvious from the data what it is.

For the ID and Fingerprint, and created and expires it's not clear, what it refers to and what can be done with it. Maybe there should be a key label somewhere, or a help button, which shows more information.

The created and expires values are identical here for the file I tried. That doesn't make much sense. Expiry should be after creation. And if the key has expired, there should be a warning.

Software and trust boxes are not aligned

The box for the software (repos and packages) is not aligned with the box for the trust warning. They should be horizontally aligned. The boxes should also use the same corner radius. Either some slightly rounded corner as in the mockups, or no rounding at all.

How to install this?

Please mention how to install one-click-installer on a Tumbleweed system. By default, .ymp files seem to get opened with YaST, and on systems without YaST they are no longer working.
