strongs's Issues

Generating the Hebrew js file

There is a perl script which generates the Greek js file, but I don't see a similar thing for the Hebrew one. Does anyone have a copy of it?

Root word error

There is a massive problem with the reference to root words in this data, for example:

{"G3143":{"derivation":"middle voice from G3144 (μαρτύρομαι);","lemma":"μαρτύρομαι"

The spelling of G3144 should in fact be μάρτυς.

This happens for every word, so I am guessing its a script issue rather than a data issue.

a Readme file

Hi,
Could you make a Readme for people to understand what this program/app is all about and how to use it?
Thx

Invalid and questioned Strongs numbers in the derivation field

I am using these files to generate a Strong's lexicon.

/greek/strongs-greek-dictionary.js
/hebrew/strongs-hebrew-dictionary.js

I see that the derivation field references other Strong's numbers related to the lexicon entry. So I also did a look up for the referenced Strong's numbers to insure they were valid and pointing to an existing Strong's number. So I discovered a handful of invalid reference.

Entry G137 derivation references G5869 which does not exist
Entry G25 derivation references G5689 which does not exist
Entry G3304 derivation references G3203 which does not exist
Entry G3305 derivation references G3203 which does not exist
Entry G3642 derivation references G6590 which is not an original Strong's number, but is an extended number. Is that okay?
Entry G4460 derivation references G7343 which is not an original Strong's number, but is an extended number. Is that okay?

Thanks for an help solving this problem.

Strong's word reference indexed to KJV verses?

Thank you for this valuable project. Do you also have an index that links each word in the KJV to the Strong's number or and index that links each strong's number to the verses and location where it is used?
