app.drainsavannah.org's Issues
Currently, it is not clear that guidelines are available. The box is too verbose. It should be changed to something simple and direct.
In mobile view, when a user clicks on a drain they have adopted, the app does not take the user to the google map and zoom into the clicked drain.
Through text, images, or video. Would allow people to track and visualize how much waste is being pulled out of drains. Could be used in media campaigns or other places.
City requested the type of material diverted by tracked as well. This helps significantly in grants.
Gained second most votes at 8/21 meeting: 13 Strong Agreement votes
Must zoom in to a fairly tight radius before markers appear. This eliminates the possibility of seeing the total number of drains in the city.
No address is returned from Maps API
Could either be through a simple link in an email or through the app. Would allow reporting on how often drains are being cleaned.
This received the most public votes during the 8/21 meeting: 15 Strong Agreement votes
Priority: High
Change link destinations and all references to Durham.
Appears to be caused by "Rendered thing_mailer/second_adoption_confirmation.html.erb"
Something to do with the mailer system.
Link is difficult to see.
Turns orange after refreshing page.
With the new domain and the loss of OpenSavannah emails, we need to shift any occurrence of the email address.
Drains do not appear when searching for an address in Safari mobile
We see the slowness when sending password reset emails and when adopting a drain.
Received the 3rd most votes at 8/21 meeting: 11 Strong Agreement votes
Make a paperform.co account
Need to change to Savannah.
Would then alert the adopting users of rain and prompt them to make sure it is clear before the rain starts.
8/21 votes received: 6 Strong Agreement, 8 Agreement
After logging in, the list of drains adopted by the current user are not shown as links.
