If we continue to do this manually, I'd suggest that we try to do it when the dependency is added. That helps reinforce that the license needs to be checked for compatibility before including the dependency. That's what I did when we switched to the Univocity parsers.

It's of course worth doing when adding a dependency, but technically that would also be needed when doing any dependency update, since they can change the transitive dependencies too…
