openpvtools's Issues

Package incompatibility

The readthedocs for #18 look quite wonky!

image

Checking the raw build log states an error:

ERROR: pip's legacy dependency resolver does not consider dependency conflicts when selecting packages. This behaviour is the source of the following dependency conflicts.
sphinx 1.8.6 requires docutils<0.18,>=0.11, but you'll have docutils 0.18.1 which is incompatible.

Make project urls hyperlinks

When adding the pvOps project in #18, I included https in the links to the project and documentation (see screenshot below). This caused the links to be represented as hyperlinks, which I think is desirable.

I suggest adding http/https to all of the URLs to make the readthedocs website more user-friendly.

An alternative solution could be to make the links hyperlinks without displaying HTTP, but I don't have a solution for this.

What kind of packages are welcome here?

Is this list a home for any and all PV-related packages, or is the scope more focused on outdoor systems? For example I just stumbled across solcore, which is on the other end of the spectrum and focuses on low-level semiconductor modeling. Just curious -- it seems like a fairly mature package that I hadn't heard of before, so I wondered if advertising it here is within scope.
