In a situation i want to use NPOs HBB TV but i do not want to see the pinkpop or lowlands crap on NPO #3, and NPO 1 is broadcasting the Top 2000 cafe crap, what i also do not want to see. On NPO 2 there is broadcast a popquiz or another (pop)music crap.

Want to mute the screen without the sound. Please not advice to use (AV)receiver or other external sound system. Sound can been mute with mute button, or on external receiver or barebone.

I request the feature to mute the video of the TV channel without the sound. When mute screen, want to display black screen, OpenPli bootscreen, own choosing image or the radio background. (preffer OpenPli bootscreen or own image)

Mute video picture can also been usefull on a TV channel where you only will listen to the nature surroundings as MyZen.TV, Mute TV or Stingray Ambiance.
Or a pop crap channel as Xite.

Currently there is no option to change play speed like VLC, want to reqeust a function to change the Play speed like VLC.
Please make that the sound frequency stays the same.

The mediaplayer application can play and create M3U playlist, but the recordings section can do not.
Hope recordings list section (remote button behind Menu and Audio) can do the same.

Time is on 1 Jan 1970, lossing current time but don't see that always.
Conot see box time in Web-If (not directly, ofcourse can see it on make screenshot function)
And Open-Pli do not give message if time losed and set too 1 Jan 1970.
Recordings failed.

The large fonts in TuxTxt become distorted (wobbly) if PiP is active. See screenshots. Tested on ET10000, Magic SD skin.

Hi,

I'd like to keep EIT EPG current/next enable and use EPG Import (Rytec) at the same time. This is useful when there are last minutes changes in EPG.
For some channels, Rytec provides a proper full EPG while EIT current/next always send: "Detailled program not available". So the Rytec EPG provides informations but it is overwritten by the EIT current/next informations in the 1st infobar.

Would be nice to have in the contextual menu an option to disable EIT EPG per channels. (Like we have for Parental protection) so I can keep EIT current/next enable and select on which channels I don't want this feature enabled.

Consider to add to SystemInfo,py a key hasMMC for HD51/52 and Solo4K and only add 179 in case a box has mmc...

in fact a work-a-round for a bug in some boxes...

I assume I get this error because I never opened the transcoding plugin. But I don't mind; it should never give an exception.

It is cosmetic only - If provider change transponder, for recorded movie is displayed wrong service name.
There could be name stored into meta (it is on first line): service_ref|service_name (or service_refservice_name)
Reading then ... if exist '|' split first line to service_ref and service_name (or split after last ':'). And if service name is not empty, then use for info about recorded movie this name and not name from lamedb via service_reference.

Exist easy way (2 lines in .py) - take service name from name of recorded movie (but for user using "short name" will be still wrong)

If the ET10000 kernel is newer than 3.17.3, I miss a few seconds at the start of each audio file. The sound is just muted (output was SPDIF). Currently, a newer kernel is used which seems to have old bugs again.

It would be better to use "standard" png images for it (https://thenounproject.com/term/sorting/, https://icons8.com/web-app/19163/sort, http://www.flaticon.com/search?word=sort, etc) or icons from the fontawesome collection if we want to have a font-based solution (like http://fontawesome.io/icon/sort-alpha-desc/).

Hi, as reported here in the forum, i would ask the possibility to add a new feature to EPG Import: "Save EPG data to epg.dat after data are donwloaded from sources and load into memory."
I know epg.dat is written ad reboot for backup etc. etc., but i would save it after new data are dowloaded.
This preserve the epg data for situations when there is a power cut or if an extension cord is accidentally switched off.

Some channels seems to 'combine' parts of elements so e.g. centering does not work as expected.

Every single time I enable PIP on VuSoloSEv2 (or try to record something, same effect), the picture goes to the small window, the fullscreen one turns black. Changing channel in the small window or in the fullscreen results with a black screen as well, no matter which channel I select, including the originally selected one. Bitrate viewer plugin indicates the channel works fine, so is oscam (it decodes the right channel)... the only problem is the video and audio is not there.

I currently use unicable LNB, but I tested different ones as well, with a second cable and with a loop through option (I guess I tested all options related to LNB settings, same effect).

Can I help somehow to debug this problem?

PS enigma2-plugin-extensions-pau plugin is installed

(DVB) subtitles may become distorted if "Center DVB subtitles" is switched on. See next screenshots. Tested on a ET10000.

Can we imagine to have in the bottom a new option (color button blue for exemple assigned), that will switch into a "key discovery mode".

In this mode by pressing the keys on the RCU it will show up which "name" and "internal value" this key has in Hotkey.

So people searching which name is associated with a key can saw it in Hotkey.

We can start by just displaying the name and later on we can also imagine to reuse the Wizard remote control (or the OpenWebif One) on this screen and show which key is pressed with its associated name to make it user friendly.

This will also allows help end-users and developpers to report RCU "wrong" key assignment (or missing one), like in the exemple where we don't know to what is assigned the miraclebox "blue box" key and that should normally open the mediaplayer, or the FAV button.

Today there is no tools to press a RCU key and know what which name it refers too.

Exit key will leave this mode, I think that this key exist on every RCU and is always properly assigned (like the color buttons too I guess).
