In 2.4. Our template needs to handle this difference somehow. Or if we are certain that apache 2.4 will be installed (it is on Ubuntu with the current cookbooks, have not confirmed on others), then we can just go with the latter.

On Ubuntu, had to run:

$ apt-get install libapache2-mod-php
$ apt -get install php5-mcrypt
$ php5enmod mcrypt

Now that we're using the queue workers functionality in Laravel, we need to make sure the server provisioning installs supervisor, as recommended by the Laravel docs, to keep the workers running.

There is a supervisor cookbook, and the docs above have an example configuration file.

The chef PHP cookbook has as issue with the mysql client package version lock. This is causing problems for us when we include the MariaDB package.

Looks like the first time through, installation works. But after running it again, it will blow up when trying to install a lower version of libmysql18 from the PHP cookbooks (which run first).

This repo needs to be cleaned up to remove implementation specific code, moving those other pieces to opengovfoundation/madison-server and a new wordpress-specific repo.

Lots of non-ruby-friendly code in here, since I've mainly been working in JS/PHP lately. Needs cleanup.
