specs's Issues

Bluetooth AD type 0x0d is already in use

0x0D | «Class of Device»

https://www.bluetooth.com/specifications/assigned-numbers/generic-access-profile

Usually Bluetooth beacons use the following types:

0x16 | «Service Data - 16-bit UUID»
0xFF | «Manufacturer Specific Data»

Though these requires extra 2 bytes compared to using a dedicated type, but getting a dedicated type for a beacon spec is probably not something Bluetooth SIG is likely to allow as the AD type domain is rather short (1 byte).

Even with use of Manufacturer Data we still need a manufacturer ID to be added, luckly there exists a way to request UUIDs for Standards Development Organizations:

Spec 0.8 document?

The most recent spec version in this repository is 0.64.3, but the opendroneid-core-c mentions newer versions such as 0.8 and 0.7. The message definitions in the library are indeed a bit different than in spec 0.64.3. Is there an updated spec document for version 0.8? Thanks!

ASTM F3411 Standard Specification for Remote ID and Tracking

Hello.

Regarding the new standard from ASTM, will OpenDroneId/specs be updated to accommodate that standard? if not, does the ASTM F3411 - 19's document have all the required data similar to the opendroneid/specs OpenDroneID_Message_0.64.3.pdf and OpenDroneID_Bluetooth_0.64.3.pdf?
