chrome-remote-desktop's Issues

This isn't an issue I just want to tell you how much this saved me

I was on a 5-hour+ long journey of getting CRD working out of the box on Debian+Cinnamon, and I just could not get things ironed out. This repository saved me without a single extra step taken, just make install.

I'm gonna leave a few words here just so Google search might possibly find it and help others:

Chrome remote desktop doesn't work on Debian
Debian unable to log in after installing Chrome remote Desktop

Have to run make mirror every time after boot

chrome remote desktop is now a user service so it will fail to disable while installing.
Also after disabling crd and enabling crd-mirror crd --status will be "stopped",l have to run make mirror after every boot.

Mirror mode not working anymore after upgrading the system

I was working normally with the --mirror mode having the kernel 5.4 but after a total system upgrade and moving to the kernel 5.12 it doesn't work anymore, I uninstalled completely and installed again with no success crd --status always returns STOPPED and it doesn't matter what I do it don't work anymore.

It seems like this pull request solves the issue or at least for me it works like before.

System Info
Manjaro XFCE
Kernel 5.12.16-1

Need uninstallation instructions

I installed this on a machine just to test it out, and it worked great once I realized that to get out of my local login loop I had to switch from Wayland to X11.

Now that I'm done testing, I'd like to remove it so I can go back to using Wayland on this desktop.

How do I do that?

make install worked great to get it installed. Is there an equivalent command to remove it? Do I just delete the entire cloned directory that I ran that command in and reboot?
