Overview

This repository holds supporting documentation for the methods available from the ONS Statistical Methods Library (SML). The repository will be added to over time and will include information such as:

  • User documentation and sample data relevant to the methods published in the SML
  • Reference papers related to the statistical methods

Method Information

User documentation for the methods released in the SML.

User documentation provides a quick overview of the statistical method and example code of the method in use on some sample data.

The documentation template can be used to provide user documentation for a new method.

License

Unless stated otherwise, the SML codebase is released under the MIT License. This covers both the codebase and any sample code in the documentation.

The documentation is available under the terms of the Open Government 3.0 license.
