qtc-markview's Issues

Not able to view ascii docs

I have built this code successfully and the library libQtcMarkview.so is also generated. I find this plugin enabled in Settings as well.

But I am not sure how to execute it. I have created a new ascii file in my qtcreator editor and shifted to split view. From your screenshot i see, there should be an option in the top editor where markdown / ascii should be listed. I dont find any such option getting listed other than Unix(LF)/Windows(CRLF) in drop down. Kindly guide on how to view this.

One observation:

When I open an *.md file, i find the markdown file with proper updates. So is it only a viewer plugin which can view markdown files or i can edit and view them too ?
Similarly does it support ascii docs as well ? I tried opening an adoc file but i could not view it as an ascii content.

Enable HTML and JS in Markdown

It can be useful to keep inline HTML and JS in the Markdown conversion, we can use this to do things not supported by Markdown by default like Table Of Content.

But the sanitize option enabled disables HTML and JavaScript, and even with it disabled and plugin rebuild, HTML works but not JavaScript....

Not working with newest QtCreator 4.7.0

This seems like a very nice plugin, unfortunately it's not working for the latest QtCreator version:

Could not resolve dependency 'Core(4.3.0)'
Could not resolve dependency 'TextEditor(4.3.0)'

I installed it as usual by extracting all files into the QtCreator folder.

Does not work with QtCreator 4.9.0/4.9.2

I just installed the last version from https://github.com/OneMoreGres/qtc-markview/releases wich is 4.9.0.
Files added :

  • QtcMarkview4.dll in Tools\QtCreator\lib\qtcreator\plugins folder
  • QtcMarkview_ru.qm in Tools\QtCreator\share\qtcreator\translations folder

When i enable the plugin and restart QtCreator, I have the following error at launch :
error
which means C:\Qt\Tools\QtCreator\lib\qtcreator\plugins\QtcMarkview4.dll : can't load library

Tested with QtCreator 4.90 and 4.9.2.
